Dr. Angirekula is Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and board eligible for the American Board of Allergy & Immunology.

He grew up in West Texas prior to attending the University of Texas at Austin, where he received a Bachelor's of Science in Microbiology as well as a Business Foundations Certificate from the McCombs School of Business. He then attended medical school at Texas A&M University College of Medicine, where he first developed an interest in the field of Allergy/Immunology after doing a rotation and witnessing the profound difference in quality of life an Allergist can make. He stayed at Baylor Scott and White Hospital in Temple, just north of Austin, for his residency in Internal Medicine. He then moved to Houston shortly after marrying his wife to complete his Allergy Fellowship at UTMB. He is thankful to have found his passion in being an allergist and likes to teach his patients about how cool the immune system really is. In his free time, he and his wife love cooking and exploring the numerous amazing restaurants Houston has to offer. He also loves to play tennis and watch just about any sport.
